October 7th 2013 we held a Bollywood Beauty fundraising event at Horton Grange country house Hotel for the very worthy charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer. We teamed up with the Just Jhoom! North East dance group for this event and Horton Grange provided the beautiful venue and delicious food.
A great night was had by all , we had a wonderful raffle where a lot of local businesses donated some fantastic prizes and Dr Mehra gave an informative demonstration of how we, both woman and MEN should check themselves regularly.
The evening drew to an end after beautiful food lots of laughter with a Fantastic dance performance by the Just Jhoom! north East dance group resulting in the whole place joining in and dancing Bollywood style.
The evening raised in excess of £1100.00 and both Just Jhoom! and Ponteland Hair & Beauty had some other smaller fundraising things going on in the lead up to Bollywood Beauty evening resulting in a Grand total raised for Breakthrough Breast Cancer at £1494.60
